Reporting
Transparent reporting of sustainability-related information is essential to build trust, manage risks, make informed decisions, engage stakeholders and ensure long-term business success in a rapidly changing global landscape. In addition to Elanders Annual and Sustainability Report, Elanders makes visible its impact and the progress made in voluntary international frameworks for sustainability reporting.
Since 2023 Elanders has been a member of the UN Global Compact. The commitment means that the Group must adapt its business strategies and operations to ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. Every year Elanders must submit a CoP-report (Communication on Progress) describing the measures taken to integrate these principles, any challenges, and the methods used to deal with them. The report serves as a mechanism for transparency and demonstrates Elanders’ commitment to responsible business practices and accountability to stakeholders.
Since 2022, the Group reports to CDP on the topics requested by customers. CDP is a non-profit organization and platform that helps companies, cities, countries and regions identify and present risks and opportunities related to climate change, water supply and deforestation.
