For one of its global clients Elanders has developed an online webshop for employee purchases with a customized entitlement and approval process. In the webshop employees from offices all around the world can order personalized name cards, product catalogues, demonstration kits and a selection of merchandizes for business partners or their own use. Products available for each user is set by the client. Elanders manages the webshop and the inventory as well as the procurement process of some of the products sold. In order to fulfil and distribute the orders within two days lead time all the products are kept in warehouses close to the client’s different markets.
Through outsourcing this service the client has streamlined the process and shortened the lead times.
