Manufacturing costs must be kept down, lead times short and product quality and delivery precision high. Logistics is a key factor for success along the supply chain all the way to the aftermarket. Elanders offers logistics solutions adapted for all types of industrial clients.
Elanders makes sure that finished products, as well as components and production-related materials, are delivered to the right place at the right time. The Group not only manages distribution and transport logistics throughout the supply chain. Clients can also receive the flexibility they desire with customized solutions adapted to their specific operations.
The Group also offers industrial logistics solutions combined with value-added services that streamline clients’ production and assembly processes. For example, these include kitting, simple manufacturing, voltage testing of batteries and other functional testing, as well as cleaning of reusable plastic boxes or other charge carriers. Additionally, Elanders can take on individual assembly steps, such as the pre-assembly of modules that can then be delivered just-in-time into the client’s production. The finished equipment can, if the client wishes, be delivered and installed directly at the end customer’s location.
