Swedish Publishing Prize goes to Elanders
Elanders and the Gothenburg Award for Sustainable Development received the Swedish Publishing Prize for the book “Winning sustainable development” in the category jubilee publications.
The jury’s motivation: “For engaging prose, a solid choice of paper and good printing and finishing quality.”

About the Communication Competition the Swedish Publishing Prize
The annual competition for newspapers, magazines, books and other printed matter.
- Populär Kommunication has been awarding the Swedish Publishing Prize since the beginning of the 1990s in a number of categories in printed communication.
- This is Sweden’s most comprehensive graphic award.
- All the nominated items have been exhibited at the Göteborg Book Fair since 2007.
- Any company, organization, authority, municipality, publisher, bureau, consultant etc. can send in a newspaper, book, Annual Report and other printed matter to be considered.
- The jury consists of active communicators such as copywriters, scientists, graphic designers, producers, journalists and editors. The jury not only judges design. We assess the graphics, typography, layout, textual contents, visual contents, choice of paper, print, repro and finishing.
- The prize winners receive – in addition to honor and glory – a statuette and a diploma. All the nominees receive a diploma and a leaflet with the jury’s assessment.
- In addition to the first prizes to the category winners and the Big Publishing Prize we also award the original Swedish design prize for graphic design, Power of Print’s Innovator Prize, a verbal prize and a visual prize.
