Actively working with social, ethical, and environmental issues creates value for Elanders as well as for the Group’s customers, investors, and society at large. Therefore, sustainability is an integral part of the Group’s operations and strategy.
Elanders’ sustainability work is divided into the areas of environment, social responsibility, and governance. We aim to minimize our environmental footprint and find new business models that can have a positive impact, such as more circular material and resource flows. At the same time, Elanders contributes to sustainable social development by being a responsible and attractive employer and managing our operations based on ethical business methods.
Elanders is affiliated with the UN Global Compact and commits to applying fundamental principles for responsible corporate governance. The Group also supports the UN’s Agenda 2030 and the 17 global goals for environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable development.
