Elanders has undergone a major transformation over the past two decades from a pure printing company with the majority of its operations in Sweden to a global logistics company with operations on four continents. Sustainability has become increasingly important for Elanders and its stakeholders. Elanders closely monitors increasing demands from the outside world and strives to meet them as efficiently as possible.
A sustainable strategy creates long-term additional shareholder value and added value for all the company’s stakeholders. This applies to customers, investors, and society. The governance of sustainability issues is anchored in Elanders’ Board and Group Management. The overall picture of the Group’s sustainability-related impact, risks, and opportunities should be considered in Elanders’ overall business strategy and goals.
Elanders’ double materiality assessment was conducted in 2024. In the analysis, Elanders has identified areas where our operations have a significant impact on people or the environment, as well as which sustainability areas entail significant economic risks or opportunities for Elanders. In the work, dialogues have been held with Elanders’ various stakeholders.
If you want to get into the details, see Elanders’ latest Annual and Sustainability Report.
From 2025, we will form Elanders’ sustainability reporting, sustainability goals, policies, and other sustainability governance based on the 11 material sustainability areas.
